Another part of the awesome religious complex!  So this was the museum section of it, which hosted all kinds of cool things.  In the back, as you can see in the first photo, they have excavated part of grounds, showing that another complex was there before.  I believe what is in the picture is a bath.  So when the building was burning in WWII, Italians ran up and pulled huge slabs of marble and other artifacts from the church.  When the fire ended, they eventually returned these artifacts (why, I have no idea).  What’s strange is some of the chunks they pulled out – some of them are humongous, and marble is really heavy.  It’s rather impressive if you think about it.  (taken 4.10.2014)
